Scarborough Open Air Theatre is hoping for 2017 to be the biggest year yet since its opening! 

In 2016 some of the concerts had the decking put over the lake so that they could have standing tickets sold as well as the seated tickets. This is becoming more of a permanent fixture as the theatre have been granted permission that they can cover the lake with the decking for all the concerts in 2017. This will increase the theatres capacity to 8,000 people.
