Extended Holiday Let Contract
Reservations/Confirmations: All accommodation reservations must be confirmed at the time of booking by either a valid debit/credit card, a non-refundable 50% deposit will be taken. Escape 2 The Sands Ltd. does not hold provisional bookings. Any additional extras (such as breakfasts, extra beds, wine, chocolates, flowers etc) on top of accommodation are payable at the time of booking and are all non-refundable. Once a reservation has been confirmed, where possible, Escape2 The Sands Ltd. will confirm the reservation back in writing via fax, letter or email. Remaining balances are due up to 7 days prior to arrival with the entire balance due on check-in. The balance can be taken via the card details provided by the guest without consent (if not already settled payment by check-in), card details will be securely stored by an encrypted PCI compliant service.
Apartment Rates: All rates quoted at the time are subject to availability, seasons & time of year, Escape2 The Sands Ltd. has the right to change and/or amend rates as we see fit. Rates will be subject to an annual increase and local events.
Check In: Check in is from 3pm on the day of arrival. With regard to group bookings it is the responsibility of the booker to inform all of their guests of the check-in time. The balance of the booking is required on check-in.
Check out: We ask that guests vacate their apartment by 10.30am on the day of departure.
Foreign Currency: Escape2 The Sands Ltd does not accept or exchange any foreign currency.
Cash Back: Escape2 The Sands Ltd. does not offer a cash back facility with any credit or debit cards.
Cancellation by Guest: For all bookings, a seven-day cancellation policy is in place and the remainder of the balance is charged (please note that the 50% deposit paid on booking is non-refundable and any additional extras are 100% non-refundable and taken at the time of booking)
Cancellation Insurance: We recommend a holiday cancellation insurance policy, which covers cancellation through illness, accidents, etc.
Cancellation by the Escape2 The Sands Ltd: Escape2 The Sands Ltd shall have the right at any time (giving such notice as possible to the guest) to cancel the accommodation without recourse or liability to the guest for any loss, damage or changes caused by circumstances outside its control including, without limitation, an “Act of God”, war or the threat of war, riot, civil strike, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disasters, extreme weather conditions or other event or circumstances which were unusual and unforeseeable and the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all due care had been exercised.
Cheques: All cheque payments that are used to confirm a booking have to be made payable to Escape2 The Sands Ltd and must be received by the company within 7 days of the booking being made and 7 days prior to your arrival date. Payment by cheque is not permitted upon arrival or departure for paying the balance of the reservation.
Health & Safety: The Guests using the facilities at Escape2 The Sands Ltd. must comply with all the regulations concerning licensing, fire, health and safety.
Credit Cards: Escape2 The Sands Ltd. only accepts the following valid credit cards, MasterCard, Visa, Switch/Maestro. If you are wishing to use a credit card to guarantee your reservation the card must not expire before the arrival date.
CCTV: In the public areas of escape2 The Sands Ltd. and some staff areas, CCTV is in operation and video recordings may be made. This activity is carried out for security and service reasons for the better management of Escape2 The Sands Ltd. and security for all its Clients and staff.
Data Protection Policy: Escape2 The Sands Ltd. is committed to protecting (i) the privacy of its customers; and (ii) the confidentiality of the information provided to it by customers. Your personal details will not be sold on or passed on to third parties.
Terms Are Before Commission unless otherwise indicated in writing all rates and prices are before commission.
Relaxation of Terms & Conditions: Escape2 The Sands may relax any of the aforementioned terms and conditions without prejudicing the right to subsequently strictly enforce them.
Complaints: We attempt to deal with complaints as efficiently as possible, and all complaints must be addressed to a member of staff immediately and given sufficient opportunity to rectify the situation to your satisfaction. If you are still unsatisfied ask to speak to a duty manager who will attempt to rectify the situation. If you are still unsatisfied the Duty Manager will ask you to fill out a complaint form (so that the complaint is documented), and this will then be dealt with by a senior manager.
Recompense: Any recompense given and accepted at the time of departure or earlier is accepted by the guest and made by Escape2 The Sands Ltd. as full and final settlement of all matters declared or not up to the point of recompense. Any recompense given and accepted after departure at any time after this event is accepted by the guest and made by Escape2 the Sands Ltd. as full and final settlement of all matters declared or not up to the point of recompense. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Returning Guests: A 10% discount can be applied to guests who have stayed before for a stay of 3 nights or more, they must provide proof of previous stay and discount code. The discount does not apply to 3 Bedroom Superior Sea View Apartments or any Apartments with a Free Beach Hut applied. The discount code may not be valid on certain dates throughout the year. Voucher must be used at time of booking and only valid when booking directly with The Sands and not through any other booking agent.
Smoking: Whilst smokers are most welcome smoking is not permitted within The Sands complex. If a guest smokes in an apartment or on the apartment balcony than Escape2 The Sands reserve the right to charge a £100 cleaning fee.
Damage to apartments: If a guest has been found to cause purposeful damage to an apartment or communal areas (fittings, fixtures or structure) then Escape2 The Sands Ltd reserve the right to make a charge to cover the costs of damage. This charge is at the management’s discretion.
Car Park: The car park is free to use for guests and 1 car park space is allocated per apartment. Users of the car park at their own risk. Management do not accept responsibility for damage, accident or loss at any vehicle or vehicle contents. Signs are displayed in the car park noting this.
Booking Accuracy: We take every care to ensure that at the time of going to print the details in all our leaflets are accurate regarding the description and information about facilities available or planned to be available. Photographs are for general guidance only. There may be occasions where facilities need to be withdrawn due to repair, renovation, development, adverse weather conditions, changes in government legislation or codes of practice or other occurrences outside our control. We reserve the right to make such alterations without prior notice and we are unable to accept any liability as a result thereof.
Water and electric usage will be recharged on a monthly basis. An initial reading will be taken on the day of your arrival and will be taken and calculated per month in which you will receive an invoice which must be paid within 7days.
